Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Early Monks AI ("Early Monks AI", "we", "us"). They apply to our website, accounts, courses, prompt vaults, Lifetime Updates, live cohorts and done-for-you studio services (together, the "Services"). By creating an account or buying anything from us you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, Content Policy and Cookie Policy.

1. Who we are and who we are not

Early Monks AI is an independent business. We teach and use third-party AI tools such as Google Gemini and Higgsfield. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or partnered with Google, Higgsfield or any other company whose products we mention. Their names and trademarks belong to their owners and are used only to describe what we teach. Our only brand is EARLY MONKS AI.

2. Eligibility and accounts

  • You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to create an account and buy from us.
  • One person may hold one account. Each email address and each phone number can be linked to only one account.
  • Give accurate information and keep it current. The name on your account is printed on your certificates.
  • You are responsible for keeping your password and email account secure and for everything done through your account.

Account security rules

To protect your account and purchases we enforce the following, and you agree to them:

  • Your email address is verified with a one-time code when you register.
  • Only one device may be signed in at a time. Signing in on another device ends the session on the previous one.
  • Signing in on a new device, or after a 24-hour session has ended, requires a one-time code sent to your email.
  • You are signed out automatically after 10 minutes of inactivity. Within the same 24-hour session, on the same device, you can sign back in with your password alone.
  • Three incorrect passwords lock sign-in for 3 hours. Three further incorrect passwords lock it for 24 hours. You can always reset your password by email.

Do not share accounts, course access or certificates. We may suspend accounts that show signs of sharing, automated access or abuse.

3. Prices and payment

  • Prices are set in US dollars. Amounts shown in other currencies are estimates using daily exchange rates. The amount actually charged is shown before you pay; M-Pesa payments are charged in Kenyan shillings, and your bank or provider may add its own fees or use its own rate.
  • Everything is prepaid. Digital products are delivered after payment is confirmed. Studio work starts only after the full quoted amount is confirmed.
  • Payments are processed by Pesapal and PayHero (M-Pesa). We never receive or store your card details.
  • Prices may change, but a change never affects something you have already paid for or a quote that is still valid.

4. Courses, prompt vaults and certificates

  • A course purchase gives you a personal, non-transferable licence to access that course for as long as we operate the learning platform, plus 12 months of new lessons and updates to that course from the date of purchase.
  • Topics unlock in order. Each topic's assignment must be submitted before the next topic opens.
  • Assignments you submit must be your own work, made by you in the tool being taught, and must follow the Content Policy. We may reject work that is copied, made by someone else, or breaks the Content Policy.
  • When every assignment has been evaluated and approved, we issue a certificate with a unique ID and QR code. A certificate confirms completion of an Early Monks AI course only. It is not an accredited academic qualification and is not issued or endorsed by Google, Higgsfield or any other company.
  • We may revoke a certificate obtained through plagiarism, impersonation or misrepresentation. Revoked certificates show as invalid on the verification page.
  • Prompt vaults are licensed to you personally. You may use the prompts in your own work and your clients' work. You may not resell, share or publish the vault files.
  • You need your own access to the AI tools you are learning. Third-party tools, plans, prices and features are outside our control and may change.

5. Lifetime Updates

Lifetime Updates is a one-time purchase that gives the account holder, for as long as Early Monks AI operates its learning platform: access to every current and future Early Monks AI course and prompt vault; every new lesson and update to those courses; priority seats at live cohorts; and a 10% discount on studio services and revisions. "Lifetime" refers to the lifetime of the Early Monks AI learning platform, not of the purchaser. It is personal and cannot be transferred, shared or resold. It does not include third-party tool subscriptions or credits.

6. Live cohorts

Live cohort sessions are open to members who have bought at least one product or paid for at least one studio job. Sessions run on Zoom under Zoom's own terms. Seats are limited and reserved first-come, first-served, with priority for Lifetime Updates members. Do not share join links or passcodes. Be respectful; we may remove anyone who disrupts a session. Sessions may be rescheduled or cancelled, in which case we will tell you by email. Sessions may be recorded for members — we will announce this at the start.

7. Done-for-you studio services

Briefs and quotes

  • You request work by submitting a brief for a package or a custom job. A brief is not a contract; we may decline any brief, including any that breaks the Content Policy.
  • We reply with a written quote stating the price (between USD 20 and USD 500 per task), delivery time and number of included revision rounds. Quotes are valid for the period stated, usually 72 hours.
  • Paying a quote forms a contract for that work on these Terms. The delivery clock starts when payment is confirmed.

Previews, revisions and delivery

  • We first deliver a watermarked preview. For video, previews are limited to 10 seconds. Previews are for review only and may not be published or used.
  • Each job includes the number of revision rounds stated in the quote (normally one). A revision means changes to the delivered work within the original brief. A new idea, new scenes or a different format is a new job.
  • Extra revision rounds are a paid add-on costing 45% of the job's quoted price, paid in full before the revision starts. For revisions, we deliver a new watermarked preview of up to 10 seconds.
  • When you approve a preview, the full-quality files are released to your dashboard. Download and keep them: we keep delivered files for at least 90 days, after which they may be deleted.
  • Your cooperation matters. If we need information, references or consent documents from you, the deadline pauses until we receive them.

AI-generated output

Work is produced using third-party AI tools. AI output can contain imperfections and may resemble other content generated elsewhere. We review every delivery, but we cannot guarantee that output is unique or that it will be protected by copyright in every country, because the law on AI-generated works differs between countries and is still developing. Some tools embed invisible or visible watermarks (such as Google's SynthID); we do not remove them, and you must not try to.

Rights in delivered work

When you have paid in full and approved delivery, we grant you a worldwide, perpetual licence to use, copy, edit, publish and commercially exploit the delivered files, to the extent we hold rights in them and subject to the terms of the AI tools used. We may show delivered work in our portfolio only with your permission. You are responsible for any material you provide (logos, photos, music, scripts, likenesses) and confirm you have the rights and consents needed for us to use it.

8. Acceptable use

You must follow the Content Policy in everything you request, upload or submit. You must not: attempt to access other accounts or our systems without permission; probe, scan or test our security; upload malware; scrape the site; bypass payment, preview watermarks or course locks; or use the Services to break any law.

9. Our intellectual property

Course content, lesson text, diagrams, videos, prompt vaults, the Early Monks AI name and logo and the design of the site belong to Early Monks AI or our licensors. You may not copy, record, redistribute or resell them except as these Terms allow.

10. Suspension and termination

You may delete your account at any time from Profile & security. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these Terms or the Content Policy, puts others at risk, or is used for fraud or chargeback abuse. Where we close an account without fault on your part, we will refund unused prepaid amounts for services not yet delivered.

11. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

We provide courses for education. We do not promise that you will earn any particular amount of money, views or followers. Except where the law does not allow it, our total liability to you for any claim relating to the Services is limited to the amount you paid us for the product or job the claim relates to, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profits or lost data. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be excluded.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced by email or on the site before they take effect. The version in force when you pay applies to that purchase.

13. Law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kenya. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve any problem. If we cannot, disputes will be handled by the courts of Kenya, without removing any right you have to bring a claim in the courts where you live under mandatory consumer law.
